Nothing, which has quickly made its mark in the smart gadget market in recent years, has unveiled its new earbuds, the CMF Buds 2 headphones. This product, the second generation of CMF brand earbuds, has seen significant improvements in all areas despite maintaining the same design as last year’s model, from sound quality to wireless connectivity and noise cancellation system performance.
One of the essential features of the CMF Buds 2 headphones is the use of custom 11mm drivers that have been professionally tuned with the help of Dirac Opteo and Nothing Ultra Bass 2.0 technology. This combination allows the user to have a different experience of hearing bass and low frequencies so that the depth of sound and clarity of details are at a level that is usually seen less in mid-range earbuds. In addition, Nutting has tried to enhance the user’s listening experience to an immersive and three-dimensional level by using spatial audio technology, or Spatial Audio, so that sounds are heard from the surroundings and not just from inside the ears.
Nutting has used an updated hybrid system capable of reducing up to 48 dB of ambient noise in noise cancellation. This system covers a wide frequency range of up to 5200 Hz, and its performance is adjusted in real-time according to environmental conditions. This means that whether in a busy urban environment or a quiet room, the earbuds will automatically adjust the intensity of noise cancellation for the best audio experience.
CMF Buds 2 is equipped with the new Bluetooth 5.4 version, which has higher connection speed and stability and allows simultaneous pairing with two devices. This feature will be handy for users who switch between laptops and phones. Also, support for Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair makes the initial connection process fast and hassle-free.
In terms of appearance, CMF Buds 2 comes in three colors: light green, dark gray, and orange. This youthful color scheme and the simple but modern design make the product’s appearance suitable for everyday use and even sports. The earbuds are IP55 certified for water and dust resistance, and the charging case is IPX2 certified for splash water resistance.
The internal battery of each earbud lasts up to 13.5 hours in continuous use and up to 55 hours when using the charging case. This makes the CMF Buds 2 a desirable option for long-term use among earbuds in its class.
Nutting has priced the CMF Buds 2 at $59. This figure is equivalent to €49.95 in the European market and £39 in the UK. Buyers who pre-order the product can take advantage of an early discount. Delivery of the product for pre-orders will begin on April 18.
